Times Square Car Bomb Simulated by FBI
Faisal Shahzad, the Pakistani-born man who confessed to trying to blow up a car bomb in Times Square in May, was sentenced Tuesday to a life term in prison. As part of the government’s case against him, the FBI staged a test blast in June to explore what might have happened if Shazad’s alleged plans had come to fruition. More here: to.pbs.org
